Nestled in a secluded spot right next to the ocean along Ireland’s Wild Atlantic way, Driftwood Sauna offers you an all-year round unique sauna bathing experience. Our ethos is to step away from convention & embrace the wild! Fully immerse yourself & reconnect with nature amongst a welcoming community as you take in the stunning skyscapes & views through the panoramic windows of our saunas, across to the Aran islands & beyond. Listen to the gentle roar of the fire & drift away, allowing the heat & the blue of the ocean nurture your physical & mental wellbeing.

In May 2024, we were shortlisted for both ‘Best Waterside Sauna’ & ‘Best Ritual Programme’ from over 120 saunas at the inaugural UK & Ireland Sauna Industry Awards, hosted by the British Sauna Society in London. We were the only Irish Sauna to be shortlisted for two awards & are very proud to be the only Irish Sauna to bring home an award!

Sauna Masters
Edward & Monique are trained Sauna Masters in Thermal Leaf Whisking, completing training in Ireland, the UK and Lithuania, under the prestigious International Bath Academy. Our extensive training & deep understanding of sauna techniques ensure that our Rituals sessions are both safe & rejuvenating.
You can experience Thermal Leaf Whisking & much more in our special guided Sauna Ritual group sessions which occur at least once every month. These are fully immersive experiences guaranteed to cleanse the mind & body and promote deep relaxation.
We also offer Private Group & Individual Rituals sessions on a date and time of your choosing. Simply email us for more details!
