Our vision is to strengthen the health and well-being of our community and reconnect them with nature and each other, through the power of the sauna.
We want to make it possible for sauna bathing to be your weekly ritual.
A little Introduction
Hello, we’re Edward & Monique. Sauna enthusiasts with a shared passion for being in nature as much as we possibly can. Whether that be moving over mountain, through the forest or swimming in the sea. Through this, we have developed a thirst to find a way to live self-sustainably. Driftwood Sauna has become the first step in our journey to realise this dream.
Why a mobile sauna?
We love to discover new places so a mobile sauna made complete sense to us. We discovered the idea during an aborted hiking trip on Achill Island where the weather had different plans for us. Both having spent time in Scandinavia & Northern Europe where sauna is considered daily self care & accessible to everyone, we were enthused at the chance to be part of the movement across Ireland to do the same.
We know the healing power of the sauna & nature combined, and we want to share this with others - those that already know and those yet to discover it! We’re on a mission to use the sauna as a catalyst to reconnect people with nature and each other.
